DataScan is seeking self directed and motivated candidates with strong organizational and interpersonal skills who can work independently in a field-based risk management position. Initially, daily functions will include visiting wholesale and retail automobile dealers to perform floor plan (inventory) audits. Future functions may include other data collection activities.
Requirements Job Description

Floor plan audits require Field Risk Specialists to visit dealer locations to verify the presence of financed inventory. Specific duties for performing floor plan audits include:
• Verify onsite inventory inspecting the VIN/serial number for each unit that is reported to be on the dealer’s floor plan.
• Meet with authorized dealership personnel to determine the whereabouts of units that are not discovered during the onsite verification process.
• Enter the status code and additional required information for each inventory units using a mobile computer running Audit Intelligence software.
• Review and verify the authenticity of documentation associated with sold, missing and damaged units (sales, rental, insurance, DMV, etc.).
• Record survey information about dealer facility.
• Discuss audit results with dealer or authorized representative and collect for sold and missing units as required.
• Communicate with finance company personnel about audit results, dealer conditions, and risk potential and collections results.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to demonstrate professionalism, excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.

• Other responsibilities as assigned.

High School diploma or GED required, college preferred.
At least one (1) year of experience in one (1) of these disciplines or industries:
• Floor plan audits
• Customer service
• Collections
• Automobile dealership
• Automobile auction
• Vehicle inspections
• Related field service

Additional Requirements

• Extensive local travel (expenses reimbursed by the company)
• Overnight travel in and outside of territory (approximately 25%)
• Valid driver’s license required
• Lifting and moving boxes may be required from time to time.
